The HT transformer

The 2,800 volt and +240v HT transformer made by Heritage transformers in the USA. It is mounted in a hole in the PSU compartment chassis. The red wires are the 2,800 volt secondary. It has a 120-0-120 primary that can be either connected in series for 240v operation, or parallel for 120v operation.

The transformer anti-vibration pad - cut from an old mouse mat!

The HT transformer is mounted on a pad cut from an old mouse mat to help prevent damage if the amplifier is dropped while in transit.

The filament transformer

The filament transformer

The filament transformer, also made by Heritage transformers, supplies +5v at 10 amps and +15v at .7 amp. The transformer has been designed to deliver as near to +5v as possible with a 240v line supply. AS with the HT transformer, it has a 120-0-120 primary that can be either connected in series for 240v operation, or parallel for 120v operation.

The HT bridge rectifier and 47 ohm HT resistor

The HT bridge rectifier and 47 ohm HT resistor (mounted in
front of fan) mounted on an aluminium panel that
mounts on top of the transformer

The four HT rectifiers are screwed to an aluminium ring which fits on top of the HT transformer. The 47 ohm HT safety fits in front of the 8cm cooling fan.
